Triage

so when is the firefighting going to end?

so the NHS survived a pandemic until the next one perhaps? The NHS is still struggling relying on dedicated and hard working staff, and I’m grateful for their help and support.

Somehow there has to be an end to what I call 'unicorn services.' People believe that they exist, but in reality they are almost mythical?

Everything is triaged, okay in a disaster situation, but I thought the worst was over? Press on the phone, 1 for this 5 for that, before lockdown, this triage system didn't reall exist. Now, it is the new normal.

We have a overstretched ambulance service. Queues of ambulance stand outside hospitals, and as a 'frequent flyer' someone who uses services often, I see that the system is utterly broken. Something has to be done.

Is the NHS being set up for privatisation by stealth? One of the greatest post war things to be created was the National Health Service.

Who knows how this situation will be solve? As I have said before recent actions to save the service all sounds like arranging the deckchairs on the Titanic. Hopefully the ship will not sink, but the service is on life support I think...
